Believe it or not, Marlos Moreno still belongs to Manchester City.
Signed by the club in 2016, the winger has failed to make a single appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side, but is still well committed to the club on a contract until 2023.
Since he continues not to have any chances to play for the Cityzens, the 25-year-old is set to sort his future in the coming weeks, as he still needs to find a club to play for this season.
Marca today features a story pointing out he’d been training at City Group’s side Troyes, and that’s where Manchester City would like him to stay for the season.
However, he’s ‘not convinced’, as he’d rather stay in England.
It’s claimed Moreno has ‘many offers’ from the Championship. One of them is from Sunderland, but according to the story, their bid is ‘insufficient’.
The other are Middlesbrough, with Marca not having any details on how good their attempt is.
It’s also worth pointing out there’s some interest from Turkey as well.
The outlet claims there’ll be a decision ‘in the coming days’, and with only one year left in his contract, it wouldn’t be weird to see Manchester City favouring a sale.
