Tottenham Hotspur director Fabio Paratici is currently in Italy, according to local reports.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio writes that the official is in Milan, where he’s speaking to ‘directors and market operators’.

But before Tottenham fans get excited about potential signings that Paratici could make, the story makes it clear that new additions to Spurs’ squad are not the priority right now.

In fact, Di Marzio lists three names who’re currently being discussed in meetings with Milan.

The first of them is Japhet Tanganga, who the Rossoneri have been chasing more intensively in the past few days. The report claims he’s ‘liked’ by the Serie A giants and there’s now a summit ‘to understand the conditions’.

Milan are said to be interested in signing the defender on loan with a right to buy. Meanwhile, they also look for other targets from Tottenham’s squad.

Di Marzio claims that Tanguy Ndombele and Sergio Reguilon are both out of Antonio Conte’s plans, and could end up being included in the conversations as well.

Now if Paratici will work on signings from the Serie A, it seems they’ll only happen after he sorts out those departures first.

Calcio Mercato journalist Daniele Longo is the one who writes about potential additions, saying that besides looking for a solution for Bryan Gil, the director could also engage in talks for Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo.
