West Ham United ‘remain at the window’ for Andrea Belotti, with him yet to choose his next club.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who say the Hammers are one of several sides eyeing a move for the Italian forward.
Belotti is available on a free transfer this summer after his contract with Torino, where he had been with since 2015, came to an end.
He’s yet to choose a new club but has been linked with moves all over Europe, as is natural for a player who has scored 158 goals in all competitions since 2010.
West Ham are one of those who are eyeing a potential deal and ‘remain at the window’ for the striker.
They, though, could face serious competition from Borussia Dortmund, who are also looking at Belotti after the news about Sebastien Haller.
He’s been diagnosed with a testicular tumour and is now set for a period on the sidelines, leaving the German side without the man they signed to replace Erling Haaland.
The Bundesliga side are now ‘scrambling’ to find another centre-forward immediately, and Belotti, on a free transfer, would fit the bill.
That could mean West Ham’s chances of signing him take a significant hit, but they’re in the picture nonetheless.
