Leeds United and AC Milan have both showed serious interest in Charles De Ketelaere in recent weeks. Earlier reports stated the Whites have made an offer to Club Brugge and it is higher than one made by the Serie A winners.
The Rossoneri’s latest proposal of €30m plus bonuses doesn’t please the Belgium champions as they want at least €35m.
That’s according to Het Laatste Nieuws, who explain Milan chief Paolo Maldini will arrive in Belgium soon, hoping to convince the Jupiler Pro League winners.
There’s been talks of a new offer from Milan for the 21-year-old. It remains to be seen whether Stefano Pioli’s side will submit an improved bid and if they don’t, Maldini’s trip to Belgium would be of no use.

The Serie A winners are ready to offer €32m including bonuses and have no intention of raising it further, due to De Ketelaere’s willingness to join them.
If Club Brugge continue to insist they want their demands to be met because of the offers they have from Leeds and others, Milan would put an end to the negotiations and shift their focus to Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.
Should this happen, it could come as encouragement for Leeds as they still seem to be in the picture to sign the attacker. A potential deal would then depend on Marsch’s side convincing De Ketelaere to join them this summer.
