Bayern Munich defender Omar Richards is on his way to Nottingham Forest for a medical before finalising his move to Steve Cooper’s side.
That’s according to SportBILD journalist Christian Falk, who says the player is ‘flying today’ ahead of his medical.
He reports that Bayern and Nottingham Forest have ‘agreed on a deal’ worth €10m for the defender, who is now travelling to finalise the move.
Nottingham Forest have been heavily linked with a move for the full-back over the last week as they continue their efforts to strengthen following promotion from the Championship.
TRUE✅ Omar Richards is flying today to Notingham for medical-Check. @FCBayern and Notingham Forest agreed on a deal of €10 Mio @BILD_Sport

Reports in Germany had made it clear that Bayern weren’t planning on selling Richards this summer but, faced with the prospect of making a profit on the defender, are open to a sale.
It seems a €10m deal has now been struck with Nottingham Forest, and Richards is ‘flying today’ to finalise the move.
Falk makes no mention of the contract the defender will sign with his new club, but this deal is quickly developing, so expect those details to emerge sooner rather than later.
Soon after, this all was further backed up by Florian Plettenberg for Sky Germany, who claimed the transfer is now ‘100% done’, ending as a ‘very good deal for all parties’.
Update O. #Richards: Very good deal for all parties again. Transfer is 100 % done. Bayern will receive around €9-10m transfer fee guaranteed. Forest will get a talented left back but he had to much competition with Davies/Hernández. @SkySportDE 🏴 https://t.co/aWTJMXH1lV
