Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has been given a 75% chance of leaving the club this summer, with Fulham interested in a deal.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the German goalkeeper needs to leave the Emirates this summer ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.
Leno found himself as the number two under Mikel Arteta last season after the arrival of Aaron Ramsdale, who quickly established himself as the number one with a series of impressive performances.
That’s led to numerous reports that Leno would look to leave Arsenal this summer in search of the regular playing time he wants.
He can only hope to be a part of Germany’s World Cup squad later this year if he gets ‘minutes of action’ and is in contact with Hansi Flick and his team about the situation.
Thus, he needs to find himself a new club where he will be the undisputed number one, and Fulham are ‘interested’ in a deal.
There’s no mention of Arsenal’s demands or whether Fulham would match those, just that they are an interested party.
The newspaper, though, does tag on a ‘transfer probability 75 per cent’ on the end, suggesting that as far as they’re concerned, Leno will be on the move somewhere this summer.
