Everton have endured a difficult campaign in the Premier League, in the bottom half of the table for most part of this season.
A 2-1 win over Leicester City on Sunday helped the Toffees get out of the relegation zone and move to 16th spot in the table.
Everton can get ahead of Southampton and make it to the 15th place if they manage to win their two games in hand.
The Merseyside club appointed Frank Lampard as Rafael Benítez’s successor in January. The former Chelsea boss wants to carry out changes across outfield positions in the next window, should his side manage to avoid relegation.
According to Fichajes.net, the La Liga side ‘want to sell’ the 26-year-old in the summer and there are a handful of clubs ‘fighting’ for his signature. This includes the Premier League side.
Everton would be looking to bolster their back-line since that is one of the ‘team’s weakest areas’. It’s said Lampard ‘wants Lenglet as an important piece’ of the club’s ‘renovation’.
There isn’t anything to suggest or indicate whether Lenglet is open to moving to Goodison Park after this season.
