Ever since he took over as Tottenham’s director of football, there has been a lot of talk in the English press about Fabio Paratici.

After all, he was instrumental in convincing Antonio Conte to take over from Nuno Espírito Santo, and his connections certainly helped in acquiring the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus.

Beyond that, little is known about the man, mostly because fans don’t overly care as long as Tottenham do well and acquire the right players, but Paratici has a son, and he’s rather good at football.

Sprint e Sport have a profile on Lorenzo Paratici, currently developing as a striker with Juventus’ Scuola Sisport at U14 level.

Dubbing him ‘the sniper’ due to his efficiency in front of goal, the website explain the youngster is ‘the best player for average minutes/goals’ in the U14 Regional Group E, with 14 goals in 14 games.

While some of those have come in 8-0 drubbings and the such, last weekend’s were rather special for the young goalscorer, as he did it ‘under the eyes’ of his father.

On Sunday, ‘the Tottenham director of football was present in Strada delle Cacce to see Lorenzo Paratici score a brace’ in a 5-0 win over Acqui, with both goals coming in the space of five minutes.

He isn’t a regular starter, as his manager tends to use him ‘as an extra weapon from the bench’, with nine of his 14 appearances being from the bench, but it makes him all the more lethal as he has a ‘scary average of a goal every 38 minutes’.

The reason for this is because ‘between London and Turin, it’s not easy to fit all the training sessions’, with the youngster seemingly travelling often from England to make it to games.

Either way, he’s developing well by the look of things regardless, and we’ll have to keep an eye on whether there are any more updates on how Lorenzo is doing.

Who knows, maybe he’ll end up at Tottenham one day?
