Galatasaray are continuing to monitor Mamadou Sakho’s situation at Liverpool report Güneş Gazetesi. Galatasaray officials will reportedly travel to England for talks about the French international and they are hoping to convince Sakho to move to Turkey.
Recent claims in the English press stated Liverpool will only consider offers in the region of £20m for Sakho and it’s safe to say Galatasaray couldn’t offer this to Liverpool due to FFP.
However, due to the low taxes in Turkey Sakho could be persuaded to push for a move to Galatasaray, and therefore pressure Liverpool.
Sakho is currently playing for Liverpool’s U23 team and it’s clear the 26-year old has no future at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.
His lack of discipline off the pitch has angered Klopp resulting in the German sending the player to the reserves.
Despite his issues in the past six months Sakho is still regarded as a top defender, and it’s no surprise he’s been linked with other clubs.
