Trabzonspor this week confirmed the signings of Emmanuel Mas and Joao Pereira and now they have turned their attentions to signing a forward, with Everton’s Oumar Niasse the leading candidate.
Fanatik report Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has reportedly told his manager Ersun Yanal: ”Don’t worry. We’ll solve the striker problem just like we have solved the defensive problem. Our new striker is set to be with the team during the camp.’
Fanatik report Everton’s Oumar Niasse is now the first choice for Trabzonspor and the Turkish club hope to sign the striker on-loan. Former Wigan and Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega is subject of interest from Queens Park Rangers according to some reports in English press, which means Trabzonspor see Niasse as a more realistic option.
That shows how far Niasse’s stock has dropped since moving to Everton.
QPR are keen to bring in a forward and Rodallega is an option for the Championship club. Ian Holloway’s side has struggled in recent weeks, and therefore QPR want to boost their attacking options.
Niasse is currently training with Everton U23’s and is expected the leave the club in this window. The player hasn’t played a single minute under Everton boss Ronald Koeman and has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray.
Everton would prefer to sell Niasse to China, but the striker is keen for a move back to Turkey.
