Back in the summer, when Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot was returning from his loan at AC Milan, he was linked to several clubs from Italy.
Alhtough the 22-year-old ended up making his comeback to Old Trafford and even getting a few appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, it seems those rumours are now back for the January window.
It’s Calciomercato who today reports that Dalot ‘reappears’ as a target for Roma in the winter market.
It’s claimed that club director Tiago Pinto is now ‘studying the strategy’ to sign the player on loan with an option to buy.
Calciomercato recalls that Mourinho made big praises towards Dalot when Manchester United signed him from Porto. Now it’s said he’s a player with the characteristics that the Roma manager has been looking for.
The outlet doesn’t say how much would the Giallorossi put on the table for the buying option, but the fullback is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €10m.
