Brazil are calling up today the squad for the upcoming fixtures of World Cup Qualifiers, and Sport Witness have been told there’s pessimism from Richarlison’s part that he’ll be included.

The Everton star had two knocks during the match against Burnley, which already took him out from the match against Aston Villa last weekend, and is unlikely to travel to South America for the international break.

Richarlison’s knee injury isn’t believed to be serious, but due to the sensibility of that part of the body, the Toffees are being a little more careful about his recovery and resting him.

The 24-year-old is upset with the situation, as he had already missed the last international matches due to the impasse between clubs and countries. He feels like he must be at the national team not only to help Brazil, but to guarantee his place in the World Cup as well.

Brazil are playing Venezuela on the 7th of October, Colombia on the 10th and Uruguay on the 14th. With eight wins in eight games, however, the green and yellows don’t really have a lot to worry about their place in the next World Cup.

Despite all the issues from the last international break, FIFA are working on an agreement so players from the Premier League can travel and not miss games for their clubs once they land back in the United Kingdom.
