Currently on loan at Peterborough from Tottenham, Nathan Oduwa could end up finishing the 2016-17 season in a more exotic location.

With a return to White Hart Lane expected on the 2nd of January, unless Grant McCann asks Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs for a loan extension, the 20-year-old winger has attracted interest from Italy despite barely featuring for the Posh this season.

Totalling 44 minutes of League One football and 48 in the EFL Cup, the youngster has been used very sparingly by the third tier club, yet both Serie A and Serie B clubs are considering making a move for him this winter.

TuttoMercatoWeb report as an exclusive on Friday that both Bologna and Salernitana are thinking about him, while Atalanta and Virtus Entella are claimed to have made contact with Spurs regarding the availability of the 20-year-old.

There is no indication whether these discussions are for a full transfer or just a loan, but it seems Nathan Oduwa could be enjoying some lovely Italian sunshine come spring.
