Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are interested in Fiorentina’s Dušan Vlahović and an approach from either of the two clubs will depend on Harry Kane’s situation.
The England captain is a prime target for City, but the north London club are reluctant to cut ties with their star this summer.
Faced with the possibility of not being able to sign Kane, Pep Guardiola’s side are also looking at the 21-year-old as an alternative target.
Kane leaving his current employer hasn’t been completely ruled out and this situation has forced Spurs to look at the Serbia international.
According to La Repubblica, Tottenham ‘still insist on Vlahović’ as they look at the frontman as an alternative to Kane. The player is also courted by Atlético Madrid.
It’s claimed Nuno Espírito Santo’s side consider the Serie A man their ‘first goal’, if Kane leaves the club, and in case of his departure, Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici will make an attempt for Vlahović.
Kane’s potential departure will see Spurs earn big and part of that money could be used to meet Vlahović’s €100m valuation set by Fiorentina chairman Rocco Commisso.
