Manchester City’s Turkish international Enes Unal, who is on loan at FC Twente, has spoken to Fanatik about his plans and his current form.
This season has been a breakthrough for Unal, and he’s currently in impressive form for Twente. The Manchester City youngster is the 2nd top scorer in the Netherlands, scoring 9 goals in 14 games for his new club.
Unal’s performances in this campaign are enough for Twente fans to forget about their former attacker Hakim Ziyech, who was sold to Ajax in the summer. The youngest player ever to score in Turkish Super League, Unal is currently part of his national team too and has spoken to Fanatik about his season so far:
“We beat Ajax 1-0. I’m very happy. I’m finding my feet finally. I’m enjoying it here. I hope to do well in the coming weeks.”
The forward is one to look for in the new generation of Turkey players, along with Cengiz Ünder and Çağlar Söyüncü. The question now is will Unal be a part of Pep Guardiola’s plans next seasons after impressing in recent months.
