Corriere dello Sport have some good news for those Chelsea fans who want the club to bring Romelu Lukaku back.
They report that Inter Milan have now accepted an offer from the Premier League club for the striker. That offer stands at €115m, after progress was made it talks between the two sides.
Inter, who had been insisting on only receiving cash for their star player, refused offers of players from Chelsea, with the Blues trying to get the amount down at the same time as discarding fringe options. After long talks on Friday, things resumed with Inter Milan wanting €120m and Chelsea offering €110m.
The pair then met in the middle and Corriere say the deal is worth €115m. They sound very confident over the transfer and it’s stated only the official confirmations from the clubs involved are missing for the deal to be done.
Lukaku can then go through the transfer process with Chelsea, and finalise his return to English football.
