On Thursday, reports from the Turkish media claimed that Galatasaray were about to finalise a deal for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kaphet Tanganga.
It was claimed that club president Burak Elmas was in charge of talks, even though there were no details saying if the move would be permanent or a loan.

They say that when becoming interested in Tanganga, Galatasaray made an offer to sign him on loan with an option to buy of €6m, but Spurs didn’t want the clause.
Now the Turkish side are said to be back with a new offer. This time they’ll put €1.4m on the table to have him on a temporary spell and will not insist on a buying clause. The club are said to be really focused on landing him this summer.
According to Fanatik, Galatasaray already have an agreement with the player. Since Tottenham have big belief on his potential, they won’t let him go so easily.
