Okay Yokuşlu, who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom, appeared for Turkey on Friday as the country opened Euro 2020 along with Italy.
The 27-year-old put in a reasonable performance, despite seeing his side lose 3-0 to Roberto Mancini’s men, and didn’t do any harm to his reputation.
Celta Vigo are looking to sell the midfielder this summer, with the player himself also keen on a move, and Leeds United and Crystal Palace remain in the picture, reports El Desmarque.
Leeds and Crystal Palace are the only two Premier League clubs named, with there also being interest from the Turkish Super Lig.
However, Yokuşlu’s agent has made it clear there’s simply no desire from the midfielder to sign for a Turkish club in the current window, as long as they can find an opportunity somewhere else.
With the player keen on a high profile league in Europe, which the agent also confirmed, it gives a big boost Leeds United and Crystal Palace, should their interest be genuine.
