Real Sociedad ‘do not rule out’ the possibility of Wolverhampton Wanderers making another move for striker Willian Jose this summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say the Spanish club believe they will have no issue selling Jose after his spell in the Premier League.

Jose joined Wolves on loan in the January transfer window as they sought a replacement for Raul Jimenez following his season-ending injury earlier in the campaign.

The loan move proved to be a massive failure, though, with him managing just one goal for the club between January and the end of the season.

Jose has now returned to Spain with Real Sociedad, but his future remains in doubt, with them keen to move him on if they can.

Wolves have an option to sign him permanently but whether they will do so remains to be seen, with reports in Spain stating that Sociedad are waiting for the Premier League side to make a decisión.

Mundo Deportivo pick up on that today and explain that Jose is clear this time with La Real is over, but he has ‘not yet made a move’.

His focus in on his newborn daughter at this moment in time, but his agent has travelled to Spain and is likely to speak to Sociedad about the situation.

They’re waiting to see what Wolves do, with a decisión likely to rest on who they bring in to replace Nuno Espirito Santo.

Sociedad consider Molineux the ‘easiest way’ to get rid of Jose, although that would possibly be under ‘other conditions’ to the ones set out in their purchase option.

In fact, at the Txuri Urdin club, ‘they do not rule out’ that Wolves will return for Jose despite the fact he only managed one goal for the club.
