Paul Pogba made his return to Manchester United this summer for a world record transfer fee, after leaving the club on a free transfer (with small compensation payable) in 2012 for Juventus.
That has obviously caused some controversy in the Italian media, as they’re clearly not happy with his comments on Juventus, where Pogba made a name for himself and was given the chance to develop himself into one of the best players in the world.
Juventus’ Beppe Marotta has been speaking to Premium Sports (via Tutto Mercato Web). Marotta believes Pogba’s comments are a joke, and that Juventus got the best out of him.
He said: “We must interpret in a good way what someone says. I hope itwas an educational vacation for him.
“If he came here to return back to then wear the Manchester United shirt, that’s because Juventus got the best out of him. We take it as a joke.”
Paul Pogba has had a decent re-start to his career at Manchester United and has dealt reasonably well with the huge pressure placed on his shoulders following the record transfer deal of the summer.
