Regardless of the European league you play in, when you score 19 goals in 23 games, people are going to start noticing who you are.

This is, in essence, what is happening to Lukasz Teodorczyk, who now has some of Europe’s biggest managers taking an interest at his gaolscoring record, including Jürgen Klopp.

At least, that’s what Corriere dello Sport are saying on Thursday afternoon on their website, with the Italian newspaper claiming that both Liverpool and Slaven Bilic’s West Ham are the Premier League clubs keeping an eye on the Polish striker’s progress.

Earlier this month, we covered interest from Sunderland, West Brom, Aston Villa and Ronaldo Koeman’s Everton, who all sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old play, but while West Ham have also been vaguely reported as interested, the Anfield contingent’s link to the player is new.

Currently on loan from Dynamo Kiev to Anderlecht, Teodorczyk is quickly becoming one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, and Anderlecht are fully expected to make the deal a permanent one thanks to a clause in the deal.

DH, earlier this month, reported that a bid of around €13m could be enough to convince Anderlecht to sell their star, which would give them a profit of around €10m once they activate the €3m buyout clause.

Such a fee for a striker who has shown a knack for putting the ball in the back of the net is hardly breaking the bank, especially for Premier League clubs, so a move next summer could definitely be on the cards.

Whether that is to play on Merseyside or in London, however, remains to be seen.
