Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-1 on Saturday in a victory which further underlined Antonio Conte’s title aspirations. Tottenham faced their second disappointment in a few days, following Champions League elimination against AS Monaco, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men lost their Premier League unbeaten record.
It had all started well for Tottenham, with Christian Eriksen scoring the opening goal. The Danish international has had a tough time recently and the goal looked like it may be a trigger to change that situation.
However, Pedro had other ideas, equalising for Chelsea before Victor Moses finished the job. The Spaniard’s performance has been recognised by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pedro has been much better this season under Conte and is just one of a number of players to find their game more suited to the Italian than it was to Jose Mourinho last season.
