Barcelona keen on four players at the same club, they fit the ‘Barca style’

 

Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo report on Saturday that Barcelona are keen on four talents at Ajax. The Dutch club has a brilliant record of bringing through classy footballers and that’s being continued.

Donny Van de Beek, Vaclav Cerny, Abdelhak Nouri and Matthijs De Ligt are the ones said to be of interest to Barcelona. Ajax were watched by a Barcelona scout in their Europa League victory over Panathinaikos, and the newspaper say the players are monitored because they have a ‘Barca style’.

It may seem strange that Mundo Deportivo can produce an article on young talents at Ajax and yet fail to mention Kasper Dolberg.

The Danish forward is in great goalscoring form and at just 19 years of age is seen as one of the best prospects in European football.

Dolberg didn’t play in the match watched, but if Barcelona are keeping an eye on Aajax’s talents then he surely has to be top of the list.
