Norwich City are favourites to return to the Premier League, a year after being relegated from the top flight competition in England.

The Canaries retained their manager, Daniel Farke, and some of their stars, including Emiliano Buendía, for this season.

Operating on the right wing, the 24-year-old has been in fine form in the Championship, scoring 12 goals and registering 15 assists in 33 matches.

According to Fichajes.net, ‘everything seems to indicate’ the Argentine will leave the English club due to the interest he has generated from three La Liga sides.

Atlético Madrid, Sevilla and Villarreal are ‘interested’ in acquiring the attacker’s services, and these three clubs have a desire to make Buendía their star signing of the next market.

Los Rojiblancos, who looked at the South American in the past, have reactivated their interest because they want to create a world-class trident, a player to go with Luis Suárez and Joao Félix.

Buendía is also in the sights of Sevilla sporting director Monchi, who is looking to strengthen his side’s right-wing position.

Villarreal, for their part, could make an important bet on Farke’s man, if they qualify for the Champions League or the Europa League next season.

The three Spanish clubs ‘want’ to take Buendía in the summer and it’ll be interesting to see whether Norwich can hold on to him, especially if they return to the Premier League.
