The name Wilfried Singo is picking up some pace these days on the transfer rumour mill, to the point where Liverpool are said to have made an offer.
That comes from Tuttosport, relayed by Spazio Milan, who explain the player has been the subject of a €20m bid from the Reds.
The bid was kindly sent back to Anfield, with it reported that those in charge at Torino, where the young Ivorian currently plays, have asked for ‘minimum €30m’ before they can consider letting their starlet go.
However, that’s a fee that ‘no one will spend at the moment’ for the youngster, but all of that could change were the club to be relegated to Serie B.
Torino currently sit 17th in the Serie A table, a point ahead of 18th placed Cagliari with a game in hand, but with just four wins in 27 games, those positions could easily be switched over the next 10 games.
That’s a glimmer of hope for the Reds, who appear to have targeted the right-back as an ideal backup for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
At the club since 2019, Singo has made 21 appearances in the league so far this season, scoring one goal and assisting another three.
