Leeds United’s strength in the transfer market has of course grown since Marcelo Bielsa helped the Yorkshire club return to the Premier League.
Signing Rodrigo Moreno was a big signal, especially given the former Valencia player had been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid in the windows prior to his switch to Elland Road.
The Spaniard hasn’t been the only impressive signing, and Leeds are being linked to big options for the future. Rodrigo De Paul has been one of those, with the Italian media not finding it surprising that Leeds are linked to a player who has also received interest from Juventus and Inter Milan.
Torino Granata have an exclusive on the future of Nicolas Nkoulou. Despite going through a difficult season, it’s stated the defender could end up with a move come the summer.
Leeds United are presented as being interested, although it’s insisted there’s big competition, with PSG, AS Monaco and Lyon from Ligue 1 all credited with serious interest. Porto are also in the picture.
Again, there’s no suggestion Leeds are out of place.
Bielsa’s side certainly aren’t short in central defence, when everyone is fit, so going for 30-year-old Nkoulou may seem a little over the top. However, that his contract ends in the summer is seen as a factor, with it being stated he’s attracting interest due to being ‘Reliable, experienced and affordable’.
