Tottenham star finds himself in European Team of the Week after West Ham performance

 

Tottenham Hotspur broke West Ham United hearts on Saturday as they turned the game around in the last minute. Slaven Bilic’s men were leading 2-1, and the victory would have been hugely important for a club which needs all the boosts it can get at the moment.

Harry Kane’s late equaliser for Tottenham made sure that if West Ham got the draw it would feel like a loss, and then him actually scoring the winner sent Hammers fans into deeper despair. The victory had been so close and then in the pace of a few minutes, Kane had turned everything on its head.

The England international’s performance has been recognised by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include Kane in their European Team of the Week.

Each week the famous old Italian newspaper picks out a selection of the best from all around Europe, whilst ignoring their own Serie A.

Kane got in alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ajax’s latest wonderkid Kasper Dolberg.
