On Tuesday, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that William Saliba could soon be leaving the Gunners.
With the defender getting few chances in the first team, the January transfer window should be a escape for him on a loan or permanent move.
Now French outlet Le10Sport brings some updates on the situation today, claiming there are several sides who’d be happy to take Saliba.
It’s said that in France, clubs such as Saint-Étienne and Nice would both be interested in having him on a loan deal. Meanwhile, English and German sides are in the race as well.
Le10Sport also learned that the player has not yet made a decision regarding his future, so these sides probably still have time to put their offers on the table.
It’s said he should decide between going back to France or a ‘more risky’ choice to continue playing abroad, and then tell Arsenal what he wants ‘in the coming days’.
The defender has made no appearances for the Gunners this season, and has a contract running until 2024.
