AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has a limited number of quality midfielders currently available at his disposal after Sandro Tonali and Ismaël Bennacer picked up injuries this month.
Rade Krunic hasn’t convinced the 55-year-old, and hence, the Serie A side are looking to strengthen the midfield in the winter market.
According to Calciomercato, Fulham’s André-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Lille’s Boubakary Soumaré are back on the Rossoneri’s agenda.
Milan looked at the Cottagers midfielder and Soumaré in the summer. However, they decided not to make an approach for either of them in order to bet on Krunic. That decision hasn’t paid off.
Another report from the same outlet once again explains the Fulham player and the France U21 international are included in the Italian club’s list of central midfield targets for January.
It’s claimed Pioli’s side have viewed the pair as possible solutions in January, but only on a loan deal.
There’s no mention if either Anguissa or Scott Parker’s side are open to the idea of considering a loan move next month.
Anguissa spent last season on loan at Villarreal, and has regained his place at Craven Cottage this term. He’s made 14 appearances in the league for Fulham.
