Earlier today, we covered reports from the Portuguese media which said Porto’s deal for West Ham midfielder Felipe Anderson collapsed.

A couple of newspapers said there were disagreements last night which led the Dragons to give up on the signing, but it seems things had a turnaround in the past few hours.

Now the likes of Record and Mais Futebol are reporting that the transfer is happening and should be announced in the coming hours.

Record brings a very short story where they only confirm the move and say Porto and West Ham will split the player’s salary.

Mais Futebol says something similar.

They confirm that the clubs will share the salary, and add that the one-year loan will not include a buying option for the Portuguese side.

West Ham spent €38m to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio back in 2018.

He leaves the Hammers with 12 goals and 12 assists in 72 appearances for the London side.
