With Manchester United now getting linked to Valencia midfielder Uros Racic, the Spanish media brings a good update on the rumour today.
Super Deporte reacts to the claims from England which said the Red Devils could spend £28m to bring him as a replacement for Nemanja Matic.
The outlet claims that Valencia ‘have no news’ about an offer or even an interest from Manchester United for the 22-year-old for now.
They say Racic is currently protected by a release clause of €100m. And even though the Spanish side would let him go for only €30m, an offer of that aount ‘hasn’t arrived and doesn’t seem like it will’.
Racic has just returned from Portugal, where he spent a season on loan at Famalicão. Now at Valencia, he’s expected to fight for a place in the starting team, as Javi Garcia asked the club to sign one more man for the midfield.
It doesn’t seem like the La Liga side will make a big effort to keep him at the club, but before even considering his move for Manchester United, we must wait until the Red Devils show their interest.
