Just like they are routinely, Manchester United scouts were in Portugal for a Champions League match last night.
The officials reportedly watched Porto’s 1-0 win over Club Brugge, which left the Portuguese side in second place of Group G, three points behind Leicester City.
Newspaper A Bola points out that the Porto striker André Silva, who scored the winner, was the target for many of the clubs who attended to the game. But they can’t say if Manchester United were among the interested sides.
Besides Silva, Iker Casillas, Iván Marcano, Alex Telles and Danilo Pereira all had good performances for the home team.
Manchester United haven’t been linked to any Porto or Brugge players especially recently, so their targets for this game are really unknown.
The long list of clubs who watched the match included Atalanta, Aston Villa, Atlético Madrid, Osasuna, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Celta Vigo, Chelsea, Eintracht Frankfurt, Eibar, Inter Milan, Juventus, Leicester, Monaco, Milan, Middlesbrough, Montpellier, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Sasuolo, Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham and Wolfsburg.
