Chelsea’s Mario Pasalic signed for AC Milan on loan at the start of the season, but things haven’t gone quite accordingly to plan.
The Croatian midfielder hasn’t made a single appearance for the Serie A club, despite being named on the bench several times.
There have been talks of an early return to Chelsea, but those rumours were dismissed by his agent, who earlier suggested the 21-year-old is lacking match fitness.
Vincenzo Cavaliere, who is reportedly also Palasic’s representative, has been speaking to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, and was asked about his situation.
Cavaliere insists AC Milan are quite content with Pasalic, and it is a little difficult for him to find some playing time at the moment, as the team is doing really well.
He said: “AC Milan are very happy with Pasalic, but the team is doing very well. He came from a long injury, it is also difficult to find space right away, but he will do it. He has quality.”
At the moment, it’s a bit difficult to say if Pasalic will get a chance in the upcoming games, but he does seem to be in Vincenzo Montella’s plans with him being regularly named among the substitutes.
