According to Ajansspor’s Ekrem Konur, Fenerbahce haven’t made an offer for Huddersfield Town’s Juninho Bacuna.
Reports have come out of both the Netherlands and Turkey in the past few weeks claiming that Fenerbahce, along with fellow Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir, are interested in signing the Curaçao international.
However, Konur claims he’s contacted Huddersfield officials and they’ve confirmed they haven’t received any offers from Fener.
The Turkish side will be looking to rebuild their squad under their new sporting director Emre Belozoglu, and it’s been well documented that they want to sign a midfielder this summer.
The 22 year old joined Huddersfield from Groningen in 2018, and has been a regular player in Danny Cowley’s side this season.
Bacuna has made 38 appearances for the Terriers in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
His contract with the west Yorkshire club will expire at the end of June 2021, but he could look to move on this summer.
