Milot Rashica has been attracting interest from the Premier League.

On April 13th, Der Spiegel explained Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa are ‘interested’ in the Werder Bremen star and the two sides have ‘asked about’ the 23-year-old.

Wolves and Dean Smith’s side, along with Brighton & Hove Albion get a mention in this week’s edition of SportBild.

It’s claimed the three clubs have ‘announced their interest’ in the Kosovo international.

He has a €38m release clause valid until June 15th and the figure will drop down to €15m if the player’s employer were to be relegated this season.

Werder Bremen are 17th in the table, trailing 16th placed Fortuna Düsseldorf by four points, and they have a game in hand.

If the outcome of the 2019/20 Bundesliga season is not decided by June 15th and if Florian Kohfeldt’s side are not relegated, the latter will be free to negotiate a fee for Rashica.

According to the report, the German club are ready to negotiate with potential suitors, if they are ready to submit a higher offer before the middle of next month.

SportBild adds Werder Bremen must sell a few of their players to raise funds and the attacker is the main candidate to leave the club in the next window.

With Wolves and Aston Villa joining other sides in chasing Rashica, there could be a transfer battle to acquire his services.
