Appointed as Swansea’s new manager over the international break, replacing the dismissed Francesco Guidolin, Bob Bradley will take charge of his new team for the first time at the weekend away to Arsenal.
Ahead of the clash against Arsenal, looking back at his time as Le Havre’s manager, the Montclair native gave an interview to France Bleu in France.
Explaining all he’s seen so far is his hotel room and office at Swansea, Bradley’s time has been spent trying to get to know his team and getting everything ready for the game on Saturday.
Of course, the French radio station couldn’t help but ask him a question about Lys Mousset, who left Le Havre in the summer to join Bournemouth but is yet to make a league appearance for the Cherries.
Asked if he would now look at being reunited with the young striker at Swansea, Bradley felt it was too soon to discuss such matters.
He said: “No… for now, Lys is a player adapting to Bournemouth. He signed a young player with potential, and when you go to a club like that, you need to earn respect each day.
“Lys needs to put in the effort and show who is. Here, at Swansea, we have to work to get the group to regain confidence and ensure the team come back stronger.”
Mousset, who signed for Bournemouth for £5.5m, has made two appearances under Eddie Howe so far this season, both in the EFL Cup, totalling 87 minutes of football.
