Federico Fazio’s loan move to Sevilla for the second half of last season was pretty much a disaster, both on and off the pitch. Fans, who had been encouraged by the club to turn on Fazio when he left for Tottenham, weren’t especially convinced when Sevilla asked them to give him another chance.
Fazio has done really well to impress at Roma, against many expectations, and has started the club’s last six matches. A lot of that may be down to Antonio Rudiger’s long term injury, but Fazio hasn’t been a disaster.
So much so, that Argentine newspaper Ole include him in a list of possible call-ups for the country. Argentina had a terrible international break, and there’s call for change, with Fazio being an idea.
It’s explained that after a ‘wrong move’ at Tottenham, Fazio is now rebuilding his reputation at Roma.
