Turkish newspaper Turkiye claim Watford are interested in signing Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz.
The 23 year old was in talks with Besiktas over a new contract but his agent recently announced that negotiations have ended without an agreement.
With his contract set to expire at the end of next season, Besiktas will have a decision to make about the Turkish midfielder, who was in impressive form before he picked up a knee injury in October.
According to Turkiye, along with Watford, Serie A clubs Udinese and Fiorentina are also interested in signing Tokoz. The Udinese link would suggest the Pozzo family are involved somewhere here.
It’s likely Watford will be looking to bolster their squad this summer, but their targets could depend on their Premier League status.
Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin is said to be keen to keep Tokoz in his squad for next season as he believes the former Eskisehirspor player will be an important part of his team for the future.
The Turkish international has made eight appearances this season for his side.
