Inter Milan will ‘do everything’ to sign Victor Moses on a permanent deal from Chelsea this summer.
Moses is currently on loan at the Italian side from Stamford Bridge, having broken a previous deal at Fenerbahçe to link up with Antonio Conte in January.
The loan deal includes a €12m option for Inter to make the move permanent and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, they intend to do just that.
The newspaper reports that while Moses has featured less than Inter anticipated he would since his arrival – he’s managed just three appearances and 107 minutes in total – they still want to keep him long term.
Moses, for his part, is well settled in Milan and is even learning Italian, and the fact that he moved his full family there and is learning Italian is a sign he wants to stay long-term as far as Gazzetta are concerned.
Inter are going to try and make that happen and will ‘do everything’ to sign him as they see no reason to look for alternatives.
The move, though, will depend on Chelsea’s willingness to negotiate.
They do not need Moses and are well stocked in his position, but it’s unlikely they’ll be willing to do any favours for either Inter or former manager Conte in any negotiations.
