Already missing a chunk of the season because of a dislocated elbow suffered against Brighton & Hove Albion, Hugo Lloris only managed to return for four league games before having to sit out another.

This time, it was his adductors that was the issue, leaving José Mourinho little choice but to once again call upon Paulo Gazzaniga to replace the Frenchman against Wolves.

Unfortunately, Spurs walked away from their game at Tottenham Hotspur empty handed as the Argentine let three goals go past him, and it seems he will once again be between the sticks against Norwich in the FA Cup.

That’s what Le Parisien are reporting, claiming Lloris is likely to miss the upcoming fixture, but is expected to return for the game against Burnley in the Premier League the following Saturday.

The decision was taken with Tottenham’s staff, as they want to take ‘absolutely no risk’ of further damaging one of their star players going forward.

Le Parisien also make it clear Lloris isn’t expected to miss the games for France as Didier Deschamps will reveal his list for the upcoming international fixtures on March 19th.
