Milot Rashica has managed 10 goals and four assists in all competitions for Werder Bremen this season.
According to Bild, the 23-year-old’s performances has caught Liverpool’s attention and Jürgen Klopp has included him in the list of targets for next season.
It’s claimed the Merseyside club sent their representatives to watch the Kosovo international in action for the Bundesliga side.
The German club have endured a difficult campaign so far as they are currently 17th in the league table with 17 points. If Werder Bremen are relegated to the second tier, it will be difficult for them to hold on to the winger.
Werder Bremen chief executive Frank Baumann is aware of interest from elsewhere.
“Of course, there are a few prospects for a player like Milot after the performances of the past few years. So far, we haven’t negotiated with any club,” Baumann told Bild.
The report adds it’s inevitable for Rashica to leave his current employer after the end of the season.
Meanwhile, WESER-KURIER are also reporting that Rashica is attracting interest from Liverpool.
They add there are other clubs keen on the player, but talks between the Anfield club and Raschica’s camp are ‘more concrete’ than other suitors.
He has a ‘fixed transfer fee’ of €38m (release clause), making him affordable for the Premier League leaders.
