It’s fair to say that things aren’t going well for Moise Kean after his move to Everton this summer.
The Italian striker joined the Blues to much fanfare in the transfer window, with many impressed at their ability to capture one of the hottest young talents in Europe.
He’s yet to get going at Goodison Park, though, failing to score in any of his first nine appearances for the club and so far being forced to play a backup role at best.
This week he’s headed out with the Italy Under 23 squad on international duty, and things have not gone to plan there either.
Having started the clash with Ireland on the bench, Kean was a second half substitute but found himself taking an early bath after earning himself a red card.
They say Kean is in a ‘moment of great difficulty’, explaining he ‘hardly ever plays’ in England.
This international break was a chance for some much-needed minutes, but instead, the Everton man was only noticed because of his ‘useless expulsion.’
Calcio conclude by saying Kean’s career away from Juventus is proving to be ‘anything but simple’ and while ‘Italian football is waiting for him’ he has to commit himself.
The sentiment is that in his current state, he won’t be returning to Italy anytime soon. It remains to be seen if a turnaround at Everton is on the cards to make that happen.
