Newcastle United midfielder Henri Saivet is looking for a way out of the club this summer, according to his home country press.
Senegalese website Dakar Privee reports today the player is seen as ‘still undesired’ at the English side, especially after not being registered in the Premier League.
That’s why he ‘isn’t expected’ to be at the club for much longer, and is ‘hoping to find’ a new side where he can recover and get more minutes.
There’s no information about who could go for the player in this last week of transfer window, although his wish to leave is made clear.
Saivet is claimed to be ‘indispensable’ for the Senegalese national team, and that’s why the local press worries about his form at club level.
The player has spent the last season at Turkish side Bursaspor, where he made 28 appearances, but despite being a regular starter for the club, he finished the spell with only two goals and two assists.
