Fanatik claim Besiktas have found an agreement to loan Everton forward Cenk Tosun and the player is expected to arrive in Istanbul today.
Along with Tosun, the Turkish newspaper report Schalke winger Yevhen Konoplyanka has also agreed to join the Super Lig club and both players are expected in Turkey later today.
The arrival of Moise Kean put further doubt on Tosun’s Everton career and Fanatik now say he will return to his old club on a loan deal.
However, Bein Sports Turkey’s Besiktas journalist Gurler Akgun has rubbished the claims and he says he spoke with the Turkish international, and Tosun has informed him he will remain at Everton for the time being.
Besiktas have throughout the summer been linked with a move for Tosun, who left them in 2018 to join Everton for €27m.
He’s struggled to nail down a regular starting spot with the Toffees, and after the arrival of Marco Silva last summer his game time has become more limited.
He’s yet to play for Everton this season after being an unused substitute in the club’s opening two Premier League games.
