Fanatik report Besiktas will make one last attempt to sign their former player Cenk Tosun before the Turkish transfer window closes at the end of this month.
After the arrival of Moise Kean from Juventus this summer, Tosun’s chances of getting regular first team football under Marco Silva look slim and the Turkish forward could be persuaded to consider leaving Everton.
The 28 year old has also been linked with a move to his boyhood club Eintracht Frankfurt but Fanatik say Besiktas will make a move for him before the deadline.
It’s reported the Super Lig club’s president Fikret Orman, who has a very good relationship with Tosun, will try to convince him over a return to Istanbul.
The Everton player has previously gone on record to say he wants to succeed in England and that he isn’t looking to return to Turkey at this stage of his career.
Fanatik also claim Tosun still wants to prove himself in the Premier League even though Everton are open to letting him go out on loan for the season.
