Bruno Fernandes is taking a flight tonight to… the United States. As reported by Record, the midfielder is joining Sporting’s squad which will travel to New York City on Monday night.
The Lions are in preparation to face Liverpool in a friendly, and despite keeping a few players in Lisbon, they’re taking the captain with them.
Bruno’s trip to New York makes it to Record’s headline due to the heavy rumours regarding a Manchester United transfer. This morning, they claimed the Red Devils could be close to finally making a big official offer.
Now Record claims that regardless of the offers that may come, the player will continue with the club’s squad. This isn’t very surprising, since Bruno’s attitude has always been praised by the club and the local media.
Sporting president Frederico Varandas already flew to New York today, and at the airport, he claimed that these reported amounts regarding a Manchester United offer will not be accepted by Sporting.
