While Paul Pogba is dominating the exit talk at Manchester United this summer, Romelu Lukaku is the other major departure.
The Belgian is far out of favour at Old Trafford and both he and the club have made it clear that a break up is on the cards this summer.
Like Pogba, Lukaku is a player that completely splits opinion. On one hand, you have a top talent capable of performing at the highest end of the game, while on the other you have a temperamental player who can hinder his side rather than help them.
Manchester United have seen too much of the latter with Lukaku and as a result, plenty have questioned his ability and whether he’s worth the €86m asking price that United are after this summer.
One man who has no doubts about the asking price, or if he’ll be a success in Serie A, is his first coach Erwin Woski, who recently spoke to FC Inter News about Lukaku.
“I think he could score between 15 and 20 goals a season, as long as he signs for Inter soon and not possibly during the championship,” he told the website.
“Let’s talk about the top scorer of the Belgian national team. He is still young and has a bright future ahead.
“Of course, the Italian championship is very defensive. Lukaku is very fast and needs space to unleash his power. So we’ll see. But I have no doubts about his quality and the price.
“He is worth all the money that Inter could possibly spend on him. Indeed, it is absolutely not too much.”
