Danny Rose was one of the players left out of Tottenham Hotspur squad for their pre-season tour of Asia as Spurs confirmed on their official website the left-back was granted permission to find a new club in the summer transfer window.
He still has two years left on his contract with the Champions League runners-up and a few days ago, the left-back was offered to Barcelona, claims Sport.
The La Liga winners are in the market looking for a backup for Jordi Alba next season and they studied the possibility of signing the England international after they were presented an opportunity to sign him.
Tottenham are demanding more than €20m for Rose, but Ernesto Valverde’s side ‘dismissed’ the option of signing him because the operation was economically not feasible for the Catalan club.
Though Rose liked the possibility of making a switch to Camp Nou, Barca have ruled out of his signing and they will look at other options in the transfer market.
