Rafa Mujica is done. Finally.
The potential transfer was first reported in Spain in early May, when it was claimed the then Barcelona B player had already signed a contract with Leeds United.
His deal at the Camp Nou was coming to an end, and with Barca wanting to bring through younger options in their attack, such as the very highly rated Abel Ruiz, it was time for Mujica to try his luck elsewhere.
The 20 year old has signed a three contract at Elland Road and will be part of the club’s U23 squad initially, with Leeds confirming it’s with a view to him training with the first team.
Marcelo Bielsa is certainly a selling point for Leeds United at the moment, and that it’s been made clear Mujica could soon train with the first team probably shows the youngster was attracted by learning from the Argentine.
