Celtic winger James Forrest believes it would be a great achievement if he could see out his career with the Scottish Premiership champions.
The 27 year old recent committed himself to Celtic when he extended his contract last autumn.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, Forrest was asked if wanted to become a one club player: “Yeah, I’ve been at the club for this long, so I just need to keep going. Celtic are a massive club and always improving so you’re always pushing to be better.
“It’s going to be hard work to stay here but it’s so good. If I did manage to stay for the rest of my career it would be a great achievement.”
Forrest came through the Celtic youth academy and made his debut for the Hoops during the 2009/10 season. The Scotland international has since gone on to make over 200 league appearances for the Glasgow club.
Despite making his debut for Celtic nine years ago the attacker has remained a regular in the team and last season he made 55 appearances in all competitions.
The player can now add to his tally after signing a four year contract, which will keep him at Celtic Park for another three seasons.
During his time with the club Forrest has won the league eight times, along with five cups.
